Maria McCarthy
I was born and raised in Mexico in a large family of ten siblings and a lot of economic challenges. My father was a hard working farmer and my mother a homemaker, caring for the family.
My passion for caring for others started at home, at a very young age. As an older sibling I helped caring for the younger siblings as well as my grandparents. As a child, I was paralyzed at the age of 7 and spent a lot of time in the hospital due to my condition. Watching Doctors and nurses caring for others gave me the inspiration to pursue a career in nursing.
I moved to the USA as a single adult mother of two. Living in the USA brought me great opportunities but also new challenges, my biggest challenge was the language. In my dream to pursue education, I joined a community college to learn English as a second language and then pursue nursing. I graduated from NorthCentral Technical College in Wausau, WI in 2008 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. I had the great opportunity to start my career as Labor & Delivery nurse at a high risk Hospital in Central WI, my nursing foundation.
Life offered me the opportunity to travel the United States for 11 years working in labor and delivery nursing. My passion grew more and more with every patient, every difficult situation and every joyful time where my commitment made a difference.
On my journey of caring for others, I learned of other ways of caring for people outside the Hospital. IV hydration and vitamin infusion helps to elevate well-being by instantly replenishing nutrients, boosting of energy levels, enhancing immune function, and accelerating recovery.
I am extremely excited to embark on this new journey, I want to help my community and visitors in Las Vegas, NV to empower their health with this new approach.
This new life path brought me back home where I can spend more time with my family. We enjoy the outdoors, boating, hiking, and visiting national parks, our way to stay connected with nature and to create memories.
